This Handmade Cosplay Amigurumi Totoro Owl was made by me using category 4 acrylic yarns, thread, buttons, felt, wire and hot glue. The owl itself was created using the Hedda & Syble pattern featured in Leisure Arts', "More Cute Little Animals" pattern book, with the hat and umbrella made from my own pattern to customize it. The hat is stitched to the back of the head and side of the umbrella so you can lift it up to see his cute little ears! (See pictures.)
The umbrella is attached to the wire with the wire wrapped through the top center of the umbrella, then back around itself and secured with hot glue at the bottom. It was also hot glued to the owl's wing with the wing's grip being sewn shut.
The plush is 7" tall with the umbrella, 6" long also with the umbrella, and 3" wide. (See pictures.)
